For some pets, the muzzle is a necessary part of their early training. Extinguishing their thoughts of trying to “speak” is of course, one of the first behaviors that you must take away from them. Reducing their attempts at words into muffled moans or screams is a perfect way to start.
Later, the muzzle will still prove a useful tool. If your mutt develops an attitude, as the one pictured above has, and just won’t stop barking, muzzle her up. She may be annoyed, but in the long run, the puppy will be better off for your intervention. Even then, sometimes you may want to use the muzzle just because you can. Maybe you’ve had a hard day at work and want some quiet at home; just strap the muzzle on and enjoy a peaceful evening.
Whatever your use, a muzzle is simply something that no puppygirl owner can go without!
